Foreword: Not a jab at the Creator but rather slight criticism about making profit with this method aswell as an overview of cost/profit and items needed if gathering! <3 For those curious, i calculated the cost and total items needed to craft 60 collectables for every crafter. The prices are going off of what the items were going for at the time i checked. Some items were not available so i went with the most recent listing sold. The prices were all from the EU Odin server. All calculations were down with raw material lists. Meaning that i calculated only the base items rather than already crafted ingots, logs etc. The total amount of gil cost for ALL items including crystals is: 15,530,620 so roughly 15-16mil This is the total list of RAW items for 60 crafts of every level 91 crafter collectable. There could be some errors here but it should be mostly correct/close enough: Fire Crystal 1700 Earth Crystal 4200 Ice Crystal 3780 Wind Crystal 5640 Lightning Crystal 3780 Water Crystal 1860 Mountain Chromite Ore 1800 Molybdenum Ore 360 Lar Ore 1500 High Durium Sand 300 Ginseng Log 900 Snow Cotton 1200 Mousse Flesh 180 Lunatender Blossom 60 Silver Lobo Hide 1440 Eblan Alumen 360 Manganese Ore 240 Petalouda Scales 60 Ambrosial Water 60 Megamaguey Pineapple 200 Alpaca Fillet 120 Lemonette 60 Galago Mint 120 Edit: Calculated total purple scrips gained aswell as how much gil you would make using those scrips to buy the most expensive materia (on Odin at the time of writing this) with scrips and then sell them on the EU Odin market. Math could be slightly inaccurate but good enough :P Total Scrips Earned: 61440 Scrip Cost per Materia: 250 Total Materia: 245 (rounded down) Current Market Price: 10600 (Craftsman's Command Materia XI) Total Money Made: about 2597000 after tax about 2467150 Closing words: @Primalliquid I am really not sure where you get the 300k per class to level them from. Even when the mats first came out prices were very high. Probably higher. With my math its about 2mil per crafter. You also dont gain any money doing this method. You will lose about 13mil total. Thats not to criticize the video as a whole but rather those statements. The video and method overall is ofc good for those who have alot of gil and those who dont mind just gathering it all (which will also get them some gatherer exp ofc). Alot of people, especially those new to crafting dont know these things and its always good to see a video that goes into detail enough but also makes it understandable to newcomers. Asking my new player friend he understood it all :) Lastly, if this comment could be pinned for those who stumble upon this video so they can get a rough overview of what it would cost/what they need to gather if they dont have the money. I would appreciate it! :)

May want to put in a if your not lvl 97 msq dont watch lol. When you said 2nd city i was not expecting it to be that tbh, was expecting one of the smaller ones, im at 99 msq but w.e. xD

heads up this does not work if your on dynamis stuff is way to expensive and costs about 5mil+ to get to 100 buying mats

Spend money on market to buy materials and says you will make it back and more and then never tells how you can make the millions you spent back. I’m assuming flood the over flooded materia market?

at least on chaos you barely or dont make a profit with that. materials to reach my gsm were close to a million and the materia i got out of it was not even half of that. maybe ashe was too fast and crashed our market lol

Interesting FF never had a job ability that increased / lowered enemy encounter rates. Time Mage seems like the one that would make the most sense to have such an ability. However, since there is no Time Mage they could easily have just slapped it as a passive on one of the other FF3 jobs

I reached Cloud of Darkness at level 50 with this party... Whm Warrior Warrior Warrior all JL99 I was kinda looking forward to Ninja from what I had heard. It sucked lol because the warriors spamming advance were already OP. This is an issue with all job games though (not wanting to reset all the time) Literally no point in grinding anything except maybe for Iron Giant but I couldn't even access it or anything to do with mognet

I agree that Angeal's role could have been done by Sephiroth and it would have made a better story, but the issue is that it's a hindsight is 20/20 problem. If they did make Sephiroth Zack's mentor then it would have contradicted FF7 and Zack wouldn't have inherited the Buster Sword or Angeal's honor and wouldn't have anything to pass onto Cloud when he died, which would cause more ripples. I still think it would be a better story but you'd have to rewrite half the game and most of FF7 for it to make sense.
